The rules that apply when you use EonVPN.
These Terms of Service apply to your use of the EonVPN app and website. Downloading or using EonVPN means you agree to be bound by them, so please read them through before you go on.
Eligibility: EonVPN is open to users who are 16 or older. Creating an account confirms that you meet the age requirement and are legally able to enter into this agreement.
Permitted use: EonVPN may be used for lawful purposes only, in line with these terms. You agree not to use it to reach, store or send anything that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene or otherwise objectionable.
Prohibited activities: EonVPN must not be used for hacking, phishing, spamming, DDoS attacks or any other malicious behaviour, nor to infringe a third party's intellectual property rights. Breaking these terms leads to immediate termination of your account.
Bandwidth sharing: The free EonVPN service is paid for through an optional bandwidth-sharing programme. When you install EonVPN, you may be asked to agree to share a small share of your unused internet bandwidth. Participation is fully optional, and you can switch it off in the app settings whenever you like.
Intellectual property: The EonVPN software, trademarks, logos and content, along with everything connected to them, belong to EonVPN and its licensors. Copying, modifying, distributing or building derivative works from them requires our express written consent.
Disclaimer of warranties: EonVPN is supplied 'as is' and 'as available'. We give no warranties, express or implied, about the service's reliability, availability or suitability for any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability: As far as applicable law allows, EonVPN is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.
Governing law: These terms are governed by and interpreted under applicable law, and any dispute arising from them falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
